We are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Manager who embraces challenges. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations and collaborate with your team to ensure guests have a fantastic stay at Pietermaai Boutique Hotel and Villa Tokara.

Job Description

As an Operations Manager, you have a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of both hotels. Emphasizing quality, hospitality, efficiency, coaching, supervision, and the monitoring and optimization of procedures are at the core of your responsibilities. Additionally, you serve as the point of contact for guests, handling complaints, emergencies, and feedback. Oversight of inventory management, orders, and checking the operational team are also integral aspects of your role. Daily planning is within your scope of responsibilities as well.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure flawless operational functioning within the hotels.    Guarantee an ideal experience for our hotel guests.

Act as the point of contact for guests with questions or issues.     Monitor and uphold quality and service standards.

Coordinate, supervise, and provide guidance to the operational team.

Identify and report potential improvements in work methods and procedures.      Support the team with their duties and assist as needed.

Requirements:

Relevant work experience.

Excellent communication skills and flexibility.

FRONT OFFICE AGENT

 

As Front Office Agent, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests, and therefore our business card! You are responsible for welcoming our guests, checking in and out, providing general and touristic information, and answering questions. All this in a warm and professional manner. You also answer the telephone and e-mails, do your administrative work, and process room reservations. Personal service is of high importance here and you are committed to meeting or even exceeding the expectations of our guests!

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Check-in and check-out procedures for guests.

Warmly welcome guests, provide services, and offer information.

Answering phones, responding to emails, and performing routine administrative tasks.

Room inspections to ensure quality standards.

Handling guest requests and complaints, communicating with relevant departments.

Handeling reservations.

Manager On Duty (MOD) shifts.

Requirements:

You have an affinity with the hospitality industry,

You are service-oriented, enthusiastic, and think in terms of solutions,          You can work both independently and, in a team,

You have a hands-on mentality, are proactive and take a lot of initiative,      You speak and write well in both English and Dutch. Spanish is a plus.
